This year IPL Franchise has the power to retain five players before the auction on February 12. All franchise publishes their retained player least for seventh edition of IPL. According to the new rule all franchises also have a buy-back option for additional players, which can be done with right-to-match cards.

One time winner Kolkata Knight Riders also published the list of retained player in that list Gautam Gambhir and West Indian spinner Sunil Narine . Kolkata Knight Riders retained only two players from five now Kolkata Knight Riders can use own joker card twice on the time of auction.

Preity Zinta s Kings XI Punjab also published the list of retained player in that list David Miller and Manan Vohra is present. Kings XI Punjab also retained only two players from five now Kings XI Punjab can use own joker card twice on the time of auction.
